SUN RIVER

Sun River is Southern Utah's premier 55+ active adult community due to the many different activities, clubs and social opportunities with those who are in similar phases of life.  Just off Exit 2 from I-15 lies the only 55+ active adult 18 hold championship golf course community in the state.  If you can find a way to be bored in Sun River you might really need to check your pulse!



WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY LIKE?

There aren't many communities that buzz with activity like Sun River!  Whether you find residents driving their golf carts, riding their bikes or walking one of the many paths you can count on being the recipient of a friendly smile and wave.  Many residents wear their name tags around the community center making it easy to call someone by their name before you've even been introduced!  The Home Owners Association is very active and well managed, making sure that the rules and regulations are followed and enforced.  

REAL ESTATE IN THE SUN RIVER COMMUNITY

Established in 1998, Sun River has consistenly grown to the point that there are not too many building lots left.  At this point there are only twin homes left to build to finish out the master planned community.  Don't let the townhome label fool you though, these are extremely nice townhomes with tall ceilings, 2 car garages and modern floorplans.  Existing homes range from around 1000 square feet to over 3000 square feet and prices ranging from the low $220's to just over $750k.  There is also a gated neighborhood called Reflections which offer higher elevations and fantastic views.

It might actually be easier to list what amenities Sun River doesn't offer!  Here goes the list of amenities you will find offered: Fitness Center with FREE fitness classes for residents, 14 Pickleball Courts, Woodworking Studio, Indoor Lap Pool and Outdoor Swimming Pool and Spa, Tennis Courts, Lawn Bowling, Pottery and Lapidary Studio, Pool Table, Dog Park, Horse Shoes, Basketball Court and trails that run from Sun River all throughout St George!  There are over 60 different clubs and social groups with new clubs being added.  If one doesn't exist for a favorite hobby or interest of yours, start one!
