Condos & Townhomes

Condos and townhomes can be a great option for a 2nd home or if you want somewhere that can take care of the place for you while you travel, work, relax, etc.  Each neighborhood has its own set of amenities such as a pool, clubhouse, exercise facility, tennis court, pickleball court, etc.  They vary in cost widely since some may include additional services that you will pay such as water, sewer, yard maintenance, building maintenance, building insurance and potentially other services. 

Sometimes the cost for these items as part of the HOA dues are less expensive than if you had to pay for them separately.  Some are also fixed making is beneficial to know in advance what your monthly utility costs will be.  Anytime you are looking to purchase a condo or townhome be sure to read and understand the CC&Rs, or Covenants Conditions and Restrictions.  There may be specific rules that need to be followed that you may not agree with, in which case it would be better to look in other areas that align more with your wants and needs.
