The Sand Hollow communities are built around the Sand Hollow Reservoir and the Sand Hollow Golf Course.  Many outdoor enthusiasts are drawn to these neighborhoods due to their close proximity to trails, sand dunes, water sports, fishing and golf.  It's not uncommon to see a caravan of 4x4's or Side X Side vehicles with bright flags on the back making their way through the sand dunes. The Sand Hollow communities offer a nice mix of newer homes that appeal to those who want to be close to the outdoor activities such as golf, boating, cycling and off roading.  With plenty of land left to develop you will find new homes popping up regularly.  One of the best views of Pine Mountain and the red sandstone rock formations can be found at the Sand Hollow Golf Course clubhouse.  You may find yourself wanting to linger a little extra longer as you take in the views while enjoying a meal at the clubhouse grill.

There are quite a few different looks and building styles to be found throughout the different subdivisions ranging from southwest to traditional to contemporary.  Dixie Springs is known for having homes with RV and boat garages as well as ample RV parking along the side or rear property boundaries.  If you are looking for more of a refined or consistent home design you may want to consider either the Dunes at Sand Hollow or the newest subdivision, Tava Resort at Sand Hollow.  If you are looking for a 2nd home that you can rent out on a nightly basis your best best would be The Retreat at Sand Hollow. 

Three Falls Elementary is the school where students in grades K-5 attend.  The intermediate school is Hurricane Intermediate which includes students in grades 6-7.  Hurricane Middle School is for students in grades 8-9 and Hurricane High School is for students attending grades 10-12.  Hurricane High School is home of the Tigers and their school colors are red and black.
