Little Valley started out as a rural area with large lots for farm animals and agriculture.  As St George continued its growth Little Valley began to see more subdivisions developed along with smaller lots than the area was accustomed to.  This trend has continued although the average lot size in the Little Valley area tends to be larger than most other areas that aren't rural. Little Valley is a unique area tucked away in the south eastern part of St George.  While it used to be a sleepy agricultural and slow paced area it has transformed into one of the hottest areas for development in St George.  There are multiple parks in the area along with walking trails, hiking and some rock climbing.   

Little Valley took off like wildfire due to the fantastic values that could be had due to a good mix of entry and mid level homes being built by production builders such as Ence Homes, S&S Construction and Salisbury Developers.  This paved the way for more builders to get in on the action and even higher quality homes began to emerge on the larger, estate type lots.  Homes sell extremely well throughout the area due to the attractive designs and value that they offer.

The area is supported by 2 different Elementary Schools being Little Valley and South Mesa Elementary, both provided K-5 classes.  Intermediate students attending grades 6-7 attend either Sunrise Ridge or Washington Fields Intermediate.  Middle School students attending grades 8-9 attend either Crimson Cliffs or Desert Hills Middle School.  Crimson Cliffs High School is the newest High School in Washington County which opened in August of 2019.  Their school colors are Navy Blue and Red and the school Mascot is the Mustang.  Desert Hills High School is now the 2nd newest High School in Washington County, which opened in 2008.  Th
