The Desert Hills Community located in the city of St George is one of the most sought after communities in the area.  Built in proximity to parks, highly ranked schools and access to the most affordable electricity rates in the state, real estate in the Desert Hills community does not stay on the market for long. The Desert Hills area has a fantastic park tucked away with open space, playground equipment, basketball and tennis courts, a splash pad and walking trails.  While the park does get used frequently, it is large enough that you can still find plenty of space to engage in fun activities with your family and friends!   

The Desert Hills community has a nice mix of residential properties ranging from 1300 sf townhomes to 4000+ sf single family homes with expansive views.  Some subdivisions have amenities such as pools and clubhouses with very affordable HOA dues while other subdivisions have no HOA presence.  

Desert Hills High and Middle Schools have consistently been recognized among the top schools in the area for their excellence in academics, arts and athletics.  These schools were opened in 2008 and are the 2nd newest in Washington County.  The school's nickname is the Thunder and their mascot is Thor. School colors are black and gold. Desert Hills High School encompasses grades 10-12 while the Middle School encompasses grades 8-9.  Sunrise Ridge Intermediate ecompasses grades 6-7 while Bloomington Hills Elementary is K-5.  The school year runs from mid August until late May.
