To HOA or Not to HOA

Home Owners Associations (HOA's) aren't for everyone, especially if you prefer to maintain your own yard and would like a little more control over what you are able to do with your property. If a neighborhood doesn't have an HOA it doesn't mean that it isn't well kept, safe or even worth as much.  In fact, there are quite a few nice neighborhoods throughout Washington County that don't have an HOA and look just as good, if not better than, some neighborhoods that have them.  There is definitely a sense of pride in ownership throughout the county, HOA or not.
