There's nothing like having a pool in the summertime in Southern Utah.  Couple that with a spa and firepit and you've got a backyard retreat for all seasons!  Not many things beat an evening swim in 85° water with your favorite people.  When you need to warm up a little you can relax in the spa or sit by the firepit while visiting with your company.  

Pool ownership does come with some additional responsibilities such as ensuring a safe environment for anyone who will be near the pool.  Cleaning, balancing the pool chemicals and additional utility costs will require additional effort and cost, but the trade off can be immensely rewarding!  

A great alternative to having a private pool is to live in a community with a pool that is provided by the Home Owners Association.  This allows you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a pool without the associated costs, maintenance and effort of pool ownership.  The trade off is that you may find the pool a little crowded at times or unavailable due to seasonal closure.
